Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Before any maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Regularly clean the filters and ensure they are correctly installed to maintain optimal performance.
Check Spray Arms
Ensure that the spray arms can move freely before starting a programme. If the holes in the spray arms are clogged, clean them with a thin pointed object.
Use of Salt
Maintain the water softener by regularly filling the salt container. For the first time, add 1 litre of water before filling it with dishwasher salt. Make sure the cap is tight after filling.
Rinse Aid Management
Adjust and fill the rinse aid dispenser as needed, especially if the indicator is on. This helps in achieving better drying results.
Programme Selection
Run long duration programmes at least twice a month to prevent grease and limescale buildup.
